In Singapore every visa is referred to as a ‘Pass’ for example a Student Visa is referred to as a Student Pass, employment pass and social visit pass etc. It is important that you submit a new applications for a Student Pass at least one month before your course starts and not more than two months.

Below are the documents you have to submit for completion of formalities;
Your valid passport. You have to submit a copy of particular pages of the passport
One recent color passport-sized photograph (taken on white background);
The printout of eForm 16 & 36 (duly signed by the candidate)
A copy of the in-principle approval letter; and
Bank Statement of Sponsor along with IT returns
Affidavit of Support from Sponsor
Mark sheets and Work Experience certificates
